Pulled Pork

Ingredietns
- Pork Shoulder
Dry Rub
- 1 TBS Cumin
- 1 TBS Garlic Powder
- 1 TBS Onion Powder
- 1 TBS chilli Powder
- 1 tsp Cayenne
- 1 TBS Salt
- 1 TBS Ground Pepper
- 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
- 1 TBS paprika
Brine
- 2 Quarts Water
- 1/2 Cup Salt
- 1/2 Brown Sugar
- 2 Bay Leaves
- 3 TBS Dry Rub
- 1/2 Cup Onion, Chopped
- 2 Cloves Garlic
Instructions
- Add salt to cold water in large pot and stair until dissolved. Add brown sugar, dry rub, bay leaves, onion and garlic.
- Place pork shoulder into large pot, covering with brine solution. Cover and refrigerate 24 hours. Remove pork shoulder and pat dry
- Sprinkle dry rub on all sides. Wrap and refrigerate 8 hours.
- In a shallow baking dish, place pork roast fat side up.
- Bake in 225 degree oven for 1 1/2 to 2 hours per pound.
